after several attempts, I’ve got an Amberley Vail out of my Ender 3
My god, the detail on these sculpts is beyond words. Look, I'll be honest my clumsy mits broke parts if it, but they way the parts fit together is just incredible really nice to work with this resin. Check out the @cultofpaint Kickstarter. I'll be posting impressions up on the site soon, just finishing a quick speed paint of this guy. You can see progress in the videos I've put up, will try to get in each night and do some more, but you know me and timescales. Statues
Need some cheap statues to spruce up your town squares? That’s what those cheap toy soldier sets for American Revolution or Civil War are great for. 15-20 statues for the price of one or two regular miniatures. 54mm average size makes them about twice as tall as your minis.
These are primed black and painted with a medium gray, then highlighted with a chalk gray and white.
With just a bit more effort, you can cut off those plastic bases and glue them straight to the square “plinth.” Also, you can use duplicate poses by painting them in schemes to match different terrain--say, a bronze, marble, and granite version of the same pose.

Haven’t done mini painting in forever. 54mm Excelsy, by Ares Mythologic. Hammer was scratch-built, needed to cut the thumb off and resculpt to get her to grab it.
Tara Kurkova from Infamy's One Shot series. I struggled with ideas for this. I was going for a mixture of a Destiny Titan meets Mass Effect. I still need to gloss the helm a bit and finish up the base but, overall I'm happy with where she's at.
