There was an article in the LA Weekly about Vinyls vs. Digital and they totally dismissed CDs and I was thinking, "CDs are great!" I mean I haven't bought/download music in years mostly because of lack of funds and the ability to stream music; but I also feel a disconnect from bands now. Do I know songs? Yes. Do I know band names? No. Music is a faceless creature and to an extent that's awesome because that means I like the music on its own merit; but on the other hand that means I never go to gigs or dive deeper into the band's history/discography. I miss the days of buying a cd and reading the booklet or going online and looking up song meanings and the lyrics.
But, yes... my reflection from yesterday (the intent of this post). Yesterday was fine: I lacked water, again, didn't stretch, or lifestyle it up and am going the reflection now. I don't know what happened, but I went to sleep at 7pm and woke up at 8am today. So, that is why I didn't accomplish mostly anything. I went to an artistic meet up and met some interesting people- oh, how I miss being creative. One day I'll learn how to balance creativity and the business mindset.
That's it for now.
