a month ago my mum died. i remember when i was a child and my easter present was a gameboy advance with ffv, it was my favourite game growing up next to ffx

i remember as a young teen i reaaaally wanted to play ffviii. my parents were both like "really? :( because the game like. isnt good." my mum gave me her old copy of ffviii but the first disc was so scratched up that i couldnt play it

when i was 14 i got really into playing ocarina. the first song i learned was the title theme to ffix. i was visiting my mum one day and i practiced the song aaaall evening. only when it was time for me to go home she remembered where the song is from and she gave me her copy of ffix to play at home

im glad i finished this in time to keep this years drawing streak up :D
