Still can’t believe 20 days trickled pass just like that, after what - 6 months of planning? At some moments it felt very long (especially when my body started failing me) but if a magical genie gave me the chance, I would redo and relive everything - not just once or twice, but a thousand more times. There’s no question about it.
Okay, maybe one thing - for Emmeline not be sick this time around.
Went through so much trouble and effort for this Youtube “debut” because of copyright background music issues, but I hope it stays up for our sake. We’re not even intending to make money off of it, it’s just for personal travel logging purposes. ◔̯◔ (aka me crying in front of my laptop while watching this video 10 years later)
Anyhow, I’m so glad it was you all I went with. Can’t imagine a better experience with any other. Maybe that’s why I teared unexpectedly when we were finally saying our goodbyes at the airport, after being attached to the hips for almost 20 days.
Thank you girls for being the most patient yet enthusiastic; cautious yet most adventurous travel buddies one could ever ask for. Thank you for putting up with, and tolerating anything that might have irritated you at times - even though I know that you guys won’t ever try to show it, and for not bearing grudges and starting off every morning on a fresh, happy slate. And what would this friendship be, if not for all our stupid conversations and random quirks. If anything, the “10 meals a day”, and the calamitous aftermaths (farts) that followed, have deepened our friendship further than we ever thought possible.
Love you girls, I’m already looking forward to the next one :)
