Keith 6 feet under was trans to me. him an David both, but there was a scene that stuck out to me as particularly relevant. he joined David at a gay gathering, and he did not have a very good time. the game they were playing was to wear a female celebrity out of your sight while everyone swaps hints to each other. Keith doesn't like to be invested in the same celebrities as everyone else, and they give him shit for not being able to participate due to a lack of knowledge on the subject. in his head, the adult gay men morph into sorta private school mean girls looking people. i wish i could find it on youtube so i could show you, but basically he felt out of place and kinda embarrassed. it's very reminiscent of how trans men and mascs are excluded from the lgbt+ community and looked down upon for their masculinity. of course they're not allowed to be feminine either, but there is a very real phenomenon of transmasculine individuals being seen as "the enemy" for not fitting in with stereotypical cis gay men and having their own struggles that cis gay men don't try to understand. it's about how there's more than one way to be queer to me, and with my headcanon, about how there is no space for transmasculinity. how it gets devalued. how it's not seen by other members of the community as "queer"/the same as them, but it's also not seen as queerless to the queerless, leaving it to be some sort of secret 3rd thing that no one likes.

another scene, which could apply to any queer person, is when he was fighting with his dad. Keith was trying to accept his abusive father back into his life and heart. it immediately went badly. i think he said something about how his dad had never apologized to him (and yet he was still trying to fix their relationship) before his father said "you never apologized for being a [f word]!" and again, clearly this is also something cis gay men experience, but it's tboytober so it's about being a trans gay guy instead actually now. it genuinely seems like you have to choose between being trans and being a person. everything you say is stupid because you're trans and trans is dumb. anything you ask for is undeserved because you already waisted all of your deserving points on being trans. you must be kept in an apologetic state indefinitely, otherwise you are ungrateful. your existence is a problem that other people have to suffer through. when in the context of someone like a parent being like this, any real relationship is impossible. you will forever be indebted to them on the basis of "but it could have been even worse, you still being alive is proof of this." if it's a parent or guardian that had always been abusive, they now get to get away with everything they did, even the stuff from before you came out. not only are you probably just an overly sensitive lying drama queen, you now are less deserving of kindness than everyone else. again, one correct gendering is worth your soul to these people. you're not allowed to be trans and have anything good ever happen to you at the same time.

did your mom and/or dad pick a fight with you and now you feel the need to defend yourself? yeah well any other parent- any. other. parent... you have no idea what they'd do to you. that's why i'm the best. did you have a minor disagreement with a grandparent, aunt, or uncle? that's actually illegal because they've been thinking about meaning to look into the possibility of considering if they should pray to god to see if they'd go to hell if they were to lesson how often and overtly they misgender you and they haven't even disowned you, you're parent that is their child/sibling, and your other parent(s) and sibling(s)... yet... do you have a friend or significant other? that relationship inherently victimizes the cis person and everything bad is your fault, and even if it wasn't, then you should just be thankful they didn't actually go through with the killing you even if they maybe thought about it or possibly talked about it. if you ever make a good point no you fucking didn't bc ur trans lol get fucked. and never let yourself forget how lucky you are. there is no winning because you winning is against the rules. and then him being gay too 💀 they're never gonna let him live it down, not that they didn't call him a homo sinner when he banged chicks in the past as a trans dude either but... yeah... sorry if this one sucks guys sorry :/
