First reading with this deck. This card is a lil tricky for me. Nsfw below.

I’ve actually been thinking about it in regards to kink lately. I don’t have much experience but since I think I’m a sub and a bottom, I always felt like kinda selfish about my preferences. But then on tumblr reading from doms and tops and also sadists talk about feeling selfish or bad sometimes for their desires, or feeling good about them and talking about why they enjoy or prefer doing what they do, I had a little perspective flip. I guess the give and take really can feel good for all parties.

Anyway that was one way I’d been thinking about the card.

The person on the card has beauuutiful hair and looks vulnerable and strong at the same time. They look like they’re focused on something maybe in the future. To be honest my thoughts are veering negative, like maybe they’re feeling the give and take in their life isn’t balanced and like they’re being used. Maybe because their expression looks somber and their arms look self protective.

The card is moon ruling the second decan of taurus. So I think it’s about relationships and cycles of nurturing and being nurtured. I feel like I’m thinking too limited about it when I imagine things like permaculture and different species relationships (like mutualism, parasitism, etc).

Idk what the advice might be, maybe focus on a balance between give and take. I’m gonna look at learn tarot now.

It talks about having/not having in terms of resources, knowledge, and power. It says this card is kinda special in that sometimes it’s obvious which side the card is about and sometimes it depends on surrounding cards, and sometimes it’s just about the situation. It has examples where it’s more unexpected, like a wealthy businessman declaring bankruptcy, or a teacher who learns from her students. I think giving/receiving in terms of kink fits well here too.

The questions it asks are “why are you in the situation you're in, and where is it leading? Who is really in charge? What's really going on?”
