some funny & cute & nice things from frank's show last night.
he had quick little intermissions where he would talk for a moment and was saying how a store he went to had the jefferson's theme song playing. he said "when you've heard it for the thousandth time you want to fucking kill yourself."
he gave a brief speech about his history with music and how his first tour he went on was at 17. gave very helpful advice to aspiring musicians to keep going, learn when they fail, hurt others and feel bad about it and just "fucking do it."
at the m&g my mom told frank her favorite song was a new day's coming and he replied with "oh I fucked it up" and giggled.
I gave him a bracelet that says 'fuck off' in Morse code and he looked at it and said "that's kinda awesome."
I was mentioning how much I loved his music and how fantastic the show was and every time I complimented him he would thank me and shake my hand. he shook my hand three times in less than half a minute which was incredibly sweet!
he really took the time to have a conversation with fans. he had a lot of people to get through but you could tell how attentive he was when you spoke to him. he signed my barriers themed notebook that had all the songs listed and asked me what my favorite was (fever dream) it's just little things like asking questions and conversing that mean so much so i appreciated that.
he was always thanking fans for thanking him. any gratitude that was expressed you could tell he genuinely appreciated! he is just as thankful as his fans.
something I thought was cute was when he came outside for the m&g and everyone cheered he quickly said hi then said "I need to put some things in the van but I'll be right back with you okay?" and after wards I heard people saying to not bombard him when he came back which was very considerate.
kayleigh was incredibly sweet! I got her signature and asked her some questions about her solo music. she really loved the notebook I made too! she received a gift from a fan that was some type of embroidered accessory and she said "I could wear this with my jumpsuit!" she even jumped up and down a bit and kept smiling and thanking the fan endlessly.
another fan had kayleigh sign their ukulele and they played a short song for kayleigh on the spot and she was so happy and kept spilling compliments and she was just so sweet to them and every fan too.
evan came out and I don't think he had time to get to every fan but just like frank he was so appreciative and held conversations with fans too.
tucker signed my notebook! just like everyone else, he took the time to sign stuff!
all the fans who were waiting cheered when each band member came out and praised their performances and it was the sweetest thing ever!
overall, the band are fantastic live performers. they put their all into the show and were more than happy to sign stuff and take pictures and talk. though it may seem intimidating to approach them, they were all so chill and patient. plus the crowd is just a group of people who most likely share some of your interests, so finding a friend or someone to talk to for the night is easy! I met a girl who was very friendly who helped me stay away from the small but aggressive mosh pit cause i got shoved around quite a bit. and she even filmed me meeting frank! everyone in the band and crowd are such cool people, it was an amazing first concert experience that I will remember forever. definitely a band I would see again if I have the chance.
Sailor Moon episode 7 was good, another fun filler time. I don’t think I’ve said this up to this point but she’s pretty prominent in this episode so now’s a good time, I love Naru-chan, she’s a super fucking cutie, I hope she doesn’t fade into obscurity as more Sailor Scouts are introduced.
SPEAKING OF WHICH AMI MIZUNO IS NEXT EPISODE (thanks preview) AND I’M SO FUCKING EXCITED

Fire Force’s first episode was pretty cool. Or not because like, idk fire joke. Speaking of fire, this show’s visuals! Oh my god this show looks amazing! DavPro fucking hardcore pulling it out for the first episode, oh my god. It’s very important for a show that involves fire so heavily to have fire that looks good, and by god this fire is mesmerising. And everything else about the visuals, especially the backgrounds and some action sakuga, looks incredible! Only real worry is that the MC’s just a shounen protag, wants to be a hero, has a tragic backstory, is looked down upon by society etc, also his design isn’t really brilliant. Otherwise though this show’s popping. Hopefully DavPro can be consistent in their production.
