Goodbye 60640

I have spent the last seven years living in the 60640 zip code. I have lived in Ravenswood, Uptown, Andersonville, and what might have been Edgewater. I truly love these neighborhoods, and will miss living in them. I know they will be close and I can visit, but I just had to declare my undying love for these parts of Chicago.. Alas there is nothing to worry about because I am making my move to to Rogers Park. This move has been sponsored by love. It's a new beginning of what I expect to be the rest of my life...whew. Also, I am moving into a mid-century palace, with in-unit laundry and the best perk an amazing roommate. A roommate who is also my lover, my friend and my inspiration. To be honest I have had anxiety and difficulty realizing how great this new journey will be. I was sitting on the bedroom sofa this morning drinking coffee, and I looked over to my frantic partner trying to get to the airport. All I could think was I am so happy, I am so incredibly happy and this is it. I start my move this weekend, and I could not be any more excited. All of the sudden I was calm and a warm feeling of safety blanketed my body. My life clicked and my plans for the future were once again clear. <3
