60s Doc Propaganda!
Look at him. Look at how much of a dad he is. Look at the bandages constantly on his face cause he’s accident prone. Look at his mushroom shirt. Look at his flower crown. This man is a chemistry professor. This man drives a Harley motorcycle. This man does LSD. He’s anti-war. He put everything on hold to help Marty get back to his original time. (His plan involved launching Marty over the Grand Canyon but that just makes it more fun-)
In conclusion 60s Doc is truly the most ever and deserves love and respect. He could absolutely outsmart the man who didn’t notice when the kid he was bullying got switched with a whole different human being.
Vote for the most chaotic version of Doc ever (and that's saying something...it's Doc! He's nothing if not pure chaos!)
60S DOC HAS THE POWER OF LSD AND HARLEY MOTORCYCLES ON HIS SIDE!!!!
Vote 60s Doc!
I need more of 60' doc headcannons!
YES THANK YOU FOR ASKING ABOUT MY BOY :D Here are the songs i associate with him:
I Love You So by The Walters- this one makes me think of how Doc feels when Marty’s able to get home. “I’ve got to get away and let you go/i gotta get over” and the main chorus remind me of it a lot
Yesterday by The Beatles- his favourite song! Until Marty plays ‘Here Comes the Sun’ for him, at least. (Its not an accident that song isnt on here btw, theres a reason) I think it’s a perfect for him missing Marty after sending him home in 55. “Suddenly/im not half the man i used to be/theres a shadow hanging over me” also reminds me of his regrets over the manhattan project.
Let it Be by The Beatles- honestly, this one is mostly on here cause there’s footage from the BTTF ride where doc goes back in time to meet the band and he references this song. “And when the night is cloudy/there is still a light thats shines on me/shine on till tomorrow/let it be” does make me think of how marty’s presence gives him so much hope though
Happy Together by The Turtles- okay so obviously this song is meant to be romantic, but the vibes are there for dad doc. “Me and you/ and you and me/no matter how they toss the dice/it had to be” fits them a lot i think
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by The Beatles- a Beatles song about LSD? That’s practically textbook 60s doc! The lyrics are a bit nonsensical since its about an acid trip, but “somebody calls you/you answer quite slowly” does fit a few scenes i have planned for whenever i write the fic for this au
