Picturing the mafia thinking, after Tsuna’s coronation, that Mukuro is weak to women and sending their daughters his way bc of Chrome and MM

And then he sends them home in tears because he’s so fucking mean

I don’t think he’d risk turning the girls themselves into unwitting spies against their family, mostly because a physical cut is a much bigger issue, politically and socially, than being a bitch

If the girl’s body guard just so happens to “accidentally” get scratched, though—

If confronted about his secondary mist guardian’s behavior, Tsuna calmly informs them that Mukuro just isn’t the type to suffer fools gladly.

“Mukuro hates the mafia, so I don’t know why you expect him to play by the rules just because you send a lady his way. He’s an equal opportunist like that”

And if pressed why on earth he keeps a man in his employ who hates them, the answer is simple “because he likes me.” a selfish tyrant

Tsuna, later, “what did you say to that poor girl…” he’s tired. He’s so tired. He’s glad you didn’t make a bigger mess but did you really have to make her sob like that?

“Noted her enhancements and said she slept with her bodyguard,” while pretending to inspect his nails.

Tsuna, absolutely scandalized, “Mukuro!!! …….. Did she?”

Mukuro snorts. “Of course not. He’s far too ugly.”

Okay also: Haru complaining to Chrome that Mukuro’s face is wasted on a guy like him and Chrome quietly agrees that yeah. Mukuro’s personality IS bad.

“But that’s also why I like Mukuro-sama so much. Even though he’s terrible to others, he’s kind to the people who matter.”

Haru goes :( “Chrome-chan, isn’t your taste kinda bad?”

I think this song encapsulates them so much. I love love love 6996 (both as a ship and as individual characters) and I really want to write a fic about them. If anyone has any cute or random headcanons about these two, I'd love to read it!
