Reblog if you from the Hampton Roads, Virginia
Hampton Roads
Really interested in meeting people in the 757, or just Virginia in general. Let me know where you're at!
I can not catch your dialect. It seems southern but also northern. Where are you from?
Hey hey 👋🏾 lovely. I’m a military brat. I was born on the west coast but grew up all over the east coast. Spent most of my time in a particular part of VA that has a very unique dialect so it would be hard to catch 🤷🏽♀️🤗
A snapshot of Kujichagulia in its prime.
The Castle of the Kuji Princess can be seen thrusting over the 4 Bridges of Kuji. From Nexus Airport, head east from 69, and can see this view.
The Hope Bridge, with it’s white columns and red suspension wires was dedicated to those who died defending the 7 Cities in Hopes of a brighter future.
The mayors mansion can be seen in the top right, visitors can tour it to see the history of Kujichagulia and those who have served her.
Some of the Vandaveer Community College can be seen on the top right, across the street from the mansion.
7 Cities, 6 Countries, 5 Languages, Almost a Full 4 Weeks of Travelling, 3 Flights, 2 Travel bags, and 1 Happy Catherine!
Wow, it has been a long time since I’ve written a blog post. With travel dates falling so close to each other and academics starting to actually take part in my study abroad experience, I have been super busy and not able to keep up with my posts. Since I’ve last blogged, With only 3 and half weeks of travelling, I’ve been to Greece, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Spain! Shortly after that, I went back to Germany and then to Italy! But don’t worry! I have been keeping track of my adventures the old school way- by hand in an actual journal! One of the main reasons I started this blog was to not forget all of the places I’ve seen and cultures I’ve gotten to experience. So now, with plenty of time to procrastinate studying for exams, I will update my travels and share my experiences with you! Enjoy!
I’ve always rocked w/ @PushaT - I’m a strong believer that you gotta rock with the home team first, before you rock w/anyone else.
