01.12.22 - winter studying challenge

12th January - what is your favorite winter drink? is coffee considered a winter drink? there’s just something delightful about a warm cup of coffee early in the morning while the chilly air frosts the windows.

13th January - have a birthday in winter or in summer? definitely in the summer. the things i like to do need warm weather. i could celebrate doing the things i enjoy. however, my actual birthday is in mid spring, so not the worst.

14th January - what was your favorite thing about winter this year? it being the first holiday season with my bf was probably my favorite thing this winter. there’s always a heightened sense of stress around the holidays for me, so i was glad to have him with me. it was a whole year of firsts together, tbh.

shoutout to my older sister because her birthday was the 14th. 🎈

i enjoyed doing this study challenge even though i wasn’t the best at posting in a timely manner.

i’m trying to hype myself up for the start of the new semester on monday. though, i already received assignments on thursday, so it kind of already started.

I drew because I got stressed about work today, I decided to try to switch off slightly, I am enjoying having slower mondays, it makes the rest of the week seem so much less daunting.

I killed a Flora tree with only two minutes left on the clock today 😭

What is your favorite thing about winter?

Being able to wear warm clothing! Roughly 90% of my wardrobe is sweaters and turtlenecks and leggings and big bulky jeans so I am ill-equipped to dress myself when the temperature is above 60 degrees. I love my warm clothes 😌

Summary:

How much can someone without a starship impact the galaxy? Shepard has decided, not much. Her life is controlled by agendas and council meetings. Kaidan's moral guidance is starting to chafe. Today I had a project meeting and worked on an assignment of which the deadline is next week. I was going to do some project work too, but as I'm feeling quite tired, I have decided to do that tomorrow morning.

What is your favourit thing about winter?

- Burning candles, wearing thick winter-coats and wearing multiple layers of clothing without getting sweaty.

What is your least favourite thing about winter?

- Icy/slippery roads/pavements/bikepaths are my worst enemy.

What is an unpopular opinion that you have about winter?

- I hate ice-skating!

Are you usually busy during winter?

- I am about as busy as the rest of the year.

Do you get a break from uni during winter?

- Yes, I have a two week Christmas break.
