When banner jumped from the ship in Ragnarok
Doctor Doctor Doctor Doctor Doctor Doctor Doctor Bruce Banner has seven PhD’s and his title should reflect that.
Bruce Banner having 7 PhDs is totally understandable and here’s why
A lot of people have words about Banner having 7 PhDs. But let me tell you, from my experience, I totally get it. Forewarning, this is all just my own experience that I’m totally projecting on to Bruce Banner, but it makes sense, I promise.
So I graduated with a Bachelor’s in chemistry in May and started a job relevant to my area of study in October. Yesterday, November 21st, I looked up the graduate programs of my local university. Don’t get me wrong, I love my job. It’s the best first job I could have possibly asked for, and I could see myself working there for the rest of my working life. But the potential to learn at my company seems slim, at least compared to what a graduate school could offer. I WANT to learn more. I want to learn more about spectroscopy, about method development, anything. The simple fact that there is more that I could learn, makes me want to learn more. Plus, I have nothing else to fill my time when I’m not at work. So I could totally see myself enrolling part time in a Master’s program, or even just auditing different classes. Just to have something to DO and to keep me intellectually stimulated. And I’m sure that feeling wouldn’t go away if/when I do complete a Master’s program, because the feeling didn’t go away when I got my Bachelor’s. So I can envision myself (theoretically, in a dream world) perpetually enrolling in different graduate programs because why not? (other than money, of course)
So yea, this all made me realize that Bruce Banner having 7 PhDs is actually pretty understandable.
Do you think Bruce asked to fly the Quinjet on the way to Wakanda? Because in my head he did.
Cap: “Uh, Doc, you sure you know how to fly this thing?”
Bruce: “Can’t be any harder than flying the orgy spaceship towards the Devil’s Anus.”
*everyone stares at Bruce in horrified confusion*
