Doesn't being proship mean you like any ship, regardless of being problematic? Doesn't disliking certain types of ships mean you're not proship?
Being proship means you are pro-*shipping*, not pro all ships. It is just the opposite of antis, who believe certain ships are morally wrong and that it is ok to harass people over it. proshipping is just "ship and let ship." even if i hate incest ships, i support people's right to ship them without being accused of committing or wanting to commit incest irl; same with underage ships and being accused of pedophilia, and toxic ships and being accused of abuse. i personally don't ship those, but i'm against people being harassed for shipping them. That's what proship actually is. It's not about not disliking ships, it's about not disallowing them, and not thinking that they're a reflection of your actual irl desires. (Like, I ship gay men among other things but I don't want to be a gay man... why would shipping an incest ship mean someone wants to be actually incestuous.)
