Maps of the new leveling zone scaling system.  Basically zones still start at the same level they used to start at, but scale to their expansions cap +1 except Vanilla.  So Vanilla zones scale to 60, Burning Crusade and Northrend scale to 80, Cata & Pandaria to 90, and Draenor to 100.

I’m so pleased that dad joke Rommath and “just do what I say because I’m always right” Rommath are 100% canon! It’s everything I ever wanted. “If you would all just do what I say instead of attempting to think for yourselves, Azeroth would be much better off.” I didn’t think it was possible to love this ridiculous man any more than I already did!

Also, “We build our future upon the backbone of tradition” nicely illustrates how Rommath straddles the line between tradition and necessity. He was forced to be a revolutionary in TBC, but he’s deeply proud of Quel’thalas’s rich and glorious history and it was a relief to settle back into less strange and desperate measures once the Sunwell was restored.

I’m so psyched to see the Sunwell scene in game, and for Rommath to finally have unique click lines!

Okay, so! 7.3.5? YAY! But, if you look closely, there’s a little problem with the male pandaren model at the moment. From all the way around the shoulder to the wrist, there is a single thread of missing texture underneath both of the arms. It’s actually something that was in the PTR build before it went live. Even though I did report it, I’m not surprised that it made it into live, given that half the time reporting stuff to Blizzard is actually throwing the report into the void itself.

To make matters a bit worse, I doubt it’ll be fixed anytime soon, not even “Blizzard-soon(tm)”, since it was in PTR for months, pandaren, especially male pandaren, aren’t exactly played like belfs, and that it doesn’t seem to have really caught anyone’s attention. 

This makes me a sad panda.

Look we can all go with you to Karazhan, that place can grow Khadgar we’ll just build it up to be a city so you’re not alone.

So.. bit of a theory here, because I haven’t watched much and someone pointed out that the void has overpowered the fel in the blood elves.

I guess with the events in Antorus, nothing can fuel the fel to its power anymore. Sargeras is imprisoned, the source that kept bringing demons back is no more. Fel was built to destroy the void, but it was built. It wasn’t existing. It was the most volatile and primal source of arcane mutated on the lives and souls of mortals. But now that’s not happening anymore.

So does this mean fel isn’t the most potent and powerful magic anymore? And that the void is overcoming it?

I see it like this. That lore is outdated, and it’s being updated, and people are upset about it because it’s still vague. “High elf eyes change to the most potent magic in their system,” and we were always told fel is the most potent, volatile, latent magic because it’s the building block of arcane but mutated. However, we’ve seen undead elves that were risen due to necromancy be around fel and be completely fine because the necro magic is more potent despite being made by the Nathrezim.

But we see a Nath purified by Xe’ra, and it makes you wonder if the Light can purify something like that, that it has the power to unmake and purify Illidan- it can do that for the blood elves. And since fel doesn’t seem to be thet most potent, or shouldn’t because there’s nothing fueling it anymore.. that means entities of pure, unadulterated void or arcane can probably do the same as Xe’ra. OF course  that won’t happen to the player character, but it gives a nice outlook that fel can be erased.
