Headcannons for Aragorn and Legolas with a Singer S/O:

Aragorn:

Aragorn loves singing himself, even though he doesn't consider himself to be particularly skilled wither (growing up in rivendell, who can blame him?). To him, that's all that truly matters with singing, whether or not you enjoy it. He loves hearing you sing, because he knows its bringing you joy just as much as it's bringing him joy. I like to imagine the two of you would sing rowdy tavern or drinking songs together at the top of your lungs, or just humming travel songs for hours on the road. You'd also both be quite fond of making up your own tunes, knowing no one in the world could sing it as wonderful as the two of you together, because this song was born out of love and happiness from the two of you. Another sweet moment I can totally imagine is Aragorn coming home quietly, expecting you to be asleep, only to hear soft singing coming from the kitchen. It makes him smile so much.

Legolas:

Legolas has grown up in the halls of Mirkwood, which while Mirkwood is typically more country than most elven kingdoms, they still have the love of music deep in their veins. A personal favorite hc of mine is that Legolas is a very loud and clear singer (think an oboe type sound). Singing makes his elven-self delighted no matter how "good" it sounds, and he's 100% going to join in any way he can, whether it's harmonizing or just humming along. He's ever so pleased that his s/o loves to sing, and even though they believe they aren't very good they still sing anyways. I think he'd love exchanging songs with his s/o, with him teaching you ballads from Mirkwood and you sharing your own favorites with him. He'd always be down for learning them and singing them with you.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who follows me, this blog just reached 700 followers which is something I never expected but couldn’t be happier about! I honestly don’t know how to thank you guys!! 

I thought, maybe seeing as I don’t have time to do requests right now, I could let you guys know about some of my current WIPs. So, at the moment I’m working on:

Platonic Headcannons for Dís and a Non-Binary Asexual Reader:

(Pre- Fili and Kili)

-Okay, to start off, Dís would just be the coolest friend to have, but everyone already knows that.

-There's always some sort of adventure with Dís, and she'll always have something planned, whether it's an afternoon sparring and learning skills with the blade, or running off into the forest and going fishing, it's always a guaranteed good time.

-Once the two of you found a stray kitten and took care of it together, and once it was grown the cat shared it's time between your two homes.

-The most memorable adventure would probably be when it was absolutely pouring outside and Dís dragged you out to the river to swim in the rain, because there's no greater vibe than that.

-Dís is also a big fan of crystal hunting, and while the Blue Mountains don't have the same minerals as Erebor, there's plenty of interesting mines that the two of you explore and pick treasure out of.

-I feel like Dís would also be a pretty physical friend (think hugs, platonic hand-holding, shoulder pats, ect.), but never overbearing, and always able to tell whether someone felt uncomfortable with it or not.

-Long late night conversations where your conversations becomes nonsensical but hilarious to the two of you, and almost pissing yourselves laughing.

-Dís also totally vibes with an Asexual Person (i mean, given the fact that a majority of the dwarven population is asexual, it's pretty normal). I also personally headcannon Dís as demisexual, so its a relief to the both of you to be able to talk freely about your interests and passions and not about romantic relationships all the time.

-As for the non-binary part, dwarves just do gender better, and Dís couldn't care less about her friend's gender, just if they were a good person and if she got along with them or not (which she totally does).

-after Dís has Fili and Kili tho, a few things are bound to change in the friendship dynamic, but the friendship itself doesn't deteriorate whatsoever.

-Having one child is no easy task, and having two of them only 5 years apart (about one year in human terms) is a great undertaking, so it's nice when Dís is able to have her friend come and help her with the pebbles.

-However, during times where Dís's Spouse or Thorin is taking care of them, there's still plenty of room for adventure.

-Market days are particularly good days to be two best friends, going down through the stalls and looking at the wares of different craftsmen and merchants.

-Once Dís bought a dragon pin for you, one inlaid with precious stones and silver, a token of great friendship.

-When Dís's Spouse passed away, you were able to provide her great comfort and much help with Fili and Kili.

-You would let her come to you when she needed support or a shoulder to cry on, and she couldn't be more thankful that she had such a wonderful friend.

-And she would always be open to return the favor, if you ever needed it.
