Brutalist masterpiece: Mensa of the university of Saarbrücken by architect Walter Schrempf. Concrete sculptures in & outside by czech artist Otto Herbert Hajek. Note the "concrete rosegarden" in front of the building.

Copenhagen in the 70ties, when Knippels Bridge still had to open to let a ship pass. The best excuse to be late “The bridge was up”. Doesn’t work anymore.

Opimistic, if not socialdemocratic brickbrutalism of the 70ties: Edith Stein school in Offenbach. Also note the brutiful concrete fence around it, with classical and well-aged wooden structures left from the formwork. The original concrete/brick facade is to be newly blended at the moment, these might be the last pics of this building in its original style. As you can see in the last pic also the brick-facades where only in front of concrete elements. If this made sense for the isolation or was merely a decorative step in its construction leaves me with some questions.
