This piece is comprised of 12 11x14” silver prints that have been printed en mas and then individually bleached and toned and collaged back together to complete the work. A broken clock at the park keeper’s house of Langley Park in Sandwell, England inspired Mark Murphy’s series of collages about the social and industrial history of the area. Using history archives, Murphy made nine large paste-ups that he placed in and around the park...and then he went even bigger.
