Memories
As I can hardly thought of, memories are the events we associated with emotions - emotions shape of what we remember of the past, according to what I have learned in school. But I have always thought of memories as something so vivid you could almost smell and touch it - yet blurry you couldn’t even make sense of it.
Have you ever felt it? That strange feeling of sudden vision vaguely, before you could actually catch the memory - that stillness you felt, before the hasty recogniton. It’s like your mind is trying to pull him out carefully without cutting it - into thin strands. And you think of the time when he spelled out your name together, the one you can’t seem to disassemble. Like a puzzle that fits perfectly, you’re afraid to dismantle- thinking it would not fit the next time, but you know you should.
But then you let love do the rest as the night falls away, and you're both exactly where you wanted to be - in each other’s arms at the back seat of the car, when he had his arms around you and his mouth on your neck and he never said a word about leaving.
