We’ve been testing a few different soft saddlebag systems on the KTM 790 Adventure R using Hepco & Becker’s new pannier racks. The racks are precision machined and everything bolts on in about 15 minutes. The one minor issue we had during install was with the turn signals touching the racks (blinkers get nudged out slightly). This only occurs with the extra large turn signal lights manufacturers are required to use in the US. Aside from that, we like the slim profile of the racks and they provide a stable platform for large-capacity soft bags like the GIVI GRT709 70L system or the 90-liter Giant Loop RTW Panniers, both of which use quick-release mounting plates.
