Well, this isn't '80s sound, but it is still retro. Indie one-man band 20 Years of Age 스무살's new single, "7942," has this sound reminiscing of the '90s. Everything about the music video takes me back to childhood memories--the fashion, the effects, the subtitles, even the way they shot this video.

Please do not get me wrong. I absolutely love this. It takes me back to a simpler time.

If you're wondering what "7942" stands for, you're not alone. The numbers are a code, most likely those of a pager, like the one we see beeping at the end of the video. Perhaps it's made up? I mean, Hwan DaeHyun, the man behind 20 Years of Age, is only 33. I doubt he had his own pager as a kid.

Ahh...this summer, the Kpop industry is really giving us good music.
