Ok, while chapter 27 isn't up on Mangadex yet (I always really appreciate translation work, so I'll be eagerly awaiting that translation), and I've made every attempt to stay away from spoilers (which includes limiting my access to Twitter, Instagram, and others), I think I can't stay in my bunker anymore, so I'll leave my impressions of chapter 27 (which I read in Spanish) before I have any information about the new chapter that could affect this. I'll leave it under the cut so as not to make spoilers to anyone.
And we're one chapter closer to Hirano realizing it! I have full hopes that it will happen this 2025 with the monthly updates :)

I love that he immediately knows that Hirano admires and appreciates Kagi so much, and that he sees him bragging about how awesome her still, not-boyfriend is.
Could Ichinose be the one giving Hirano some clues?I've always thought it would be Sasaki, but Ichinose has been taking on an unusual importance in recent chapters, so I think he can be a help or ally for our protagonists, even if he doesn't live in the dorm anymore since it seems he'll be hanging around quite a lot (although we don't know if the reason he frequents the dorm are reciprocal).
Kagiura sempai aaahhh!!!! He's so cute! Now my poor boy is really busy, with endless practices and having to take care of the first-years…
It was something he said he would do when he agreed to continue being in the same room as Hirano, but despite what could be considered a problem because of the overload of tasks, it seems to be working in his favor since Hirano is finally realizing that his presence is important to him (not very consciously, but that's something).
And Hirano is definitely lonely now! My poor sweet kitty boy is resenting the lack of Kagiura in his days!

Hanzawa snuggled up to Hirano... you can tell they're close friends (I love that they are), but Kagi will definitely want to erase any trace of another boy from her Hirano-san. And while Kagi knows that Hanzawa's cozying up isn't even remotely romantic, it still bothers him, and that's why he acts so reckless

He immediately remembered Yashiro (I don't trust that guy) saying that Hanzawa doesn't accept homosexual relations, then he should also remember that it's not convenient to do anything outside his bedroom.

The clifhanger! I don't know if he can hug him, I don't know if Hirano will let him hug him since they are outside the bedroom and anyone can come in. And because I don't know if Hirano wants him to hug him. I still don't believe that the whole mess in Hirano's head will be resolved in a couple of chapters, but I'm sure that each of these experiences is helping him understand his view of love, and hopefully, understand that those feelings he has for Kagi can be love.
And on a very off topic topic, I love the way Hirano dresses! Even his overalls I love, he looks gorgeous in almost all of his clothes!
I die! They're talking about the middle school uniform!, Is that the one he ends up wearing at the sports festival where Sasaki confesses... the one Miyano is thankful to see? (Although it's much longer at the sports festival).
I'm so enjoying seeing these scenes from Hirano's perspective! Seeing what Hirano was going through, when in ssmy we would have never guessed the mess he had in his head I love it!
But back to the uniform: how would the athletic club uniform have been???? I feel the same way as Kagi I NEED to see Hirano in his track uniform... Please, please, please, please! I can't wait to see Hirano in middle school, with his black hair and bad boy face dressed for track and field competitions! I think both Kagi and us will die if we don't see him (and also if we do see him).
And speaking of Hirano's photos, is that a date for the summer!!
Kagiura meeting her future in-laws? If this were to happen, I'm sure Hirano's mom will notice right away that something is going on between her only son and that ikemen roommate who keeps looking at him with dreamy eyes. Will she be okay with the relationship?
I have thought about this before, I have the impression that Hirano won't have many problems with his family since he seems to be quite independent (although only son...), but I don't know if in Kagi's case his family will be so flexible with his brilliant athlete, handsome and now applied son (he moved up 121 places, his parents must know that he is now having better grades), being in a relationship that could affect his dreams and future career. And above all, that he would not follow the Kagiura's habit, which seems to be to have large families.
I don't know, I'd love it if the manga could also deal with that aspect in a deeper way. In ssmy it was pretty casual miyano's coming out of the closet, and in Sasaki's case, just a cross word with his mother so I'd like to see what this step would mean for KGHR.
