TXF Updates (August 1st)
Louis’ category is the boys. (x)
A CelebMix editor tweeted that Louis and Robbie give more constructive critiques than Simon because they build the acts’ confidence and give advice. She said Simon should be more like them. (x)
Roycey told Louis he looks like he’s off for a run (presumably because of his outfit). (x)
Louis kept cheering and clapping encouragingly for a 52-year-old contestant. (x)
Louis said the 52-year-old contestant seemed like the nicest woman in the world and that he’ll be disappointed if Ayda doesn’t give her a seat. (x/x)
Louis said “well done, darling” to one contestant. (x)
One contestant sang while staring straight into Louis’ eyes from across the table and Louis looked very awkward. (x)
A really bad contestant went to shake Louis’ hand and Louis shook his head and moved his hands. Louis told him "Errr, well, that was er, fun, you defo had the most fun out of everyone in this room today." Apparently this contestant had called Louis by the wrong name last week and he only seemed to care about Robbie’s opinion, so that may be why Louis reacted this way to him. (x/x)
One fan held up a “proud of Louis” sign and Louis waved to her. (x)
Louis said “if that wasn’t your best, your potential is scary” to one contestant. (x)
Louis gave one contestant a massive bro hug. (x)
When a contestant said that he hadn’t had much sleep due to having a baby and that it was his birthday tomorrow, Louis fist pumped and patted his heart while looking at the contestant. (x)
The judging desk had no sides so fans could see Louis’ little feet. (x)
Louis watched the audience react to one contestant’s performance and grinned at the reaction. Afterwards, he turned to some girls behind him to ask for their opinion and they said “OFF, OFF” and he laughed. He then told the contestant that their first audition was bizarre, but that they’d just topped it. (x/x)
A lot of the show seems to be Louis and Ayda vs. Simon and Robbie. (x)
The CelebMix editor said that even when Louis doesn’t like a performance and says no, he is unfailingly polite, fair, and positive in his critique and he explains why he doesn’t like it rather than just cutting them down. She also said that even when he’s disappointed by a performance, he’s constructive and finds a positive to point out. She said he has the makings of a great artist manager. (x/x)
Roycey filmed Louis for Yorkshire Day and Louis said “happy days!” (x/x/x)
Louis told a contestant with two sons, “Your two little lads will be very proud of you.” Louis then did a fist pump at the boys, who were watching from the side. (x)
Louis told a contestant, “You sang it with so much passion and emotion. I hope you get a seat, darling.” (x)
A contestant said he was from Bradford and Louis clapped. (x)
A contestant said, “IT’S YORKSHIRE DAY, YORKSHIRE DAY” and pointed at Louis and Louis gave the biggest toothy smile. After his performance, Louis stood up, waved his arms, and said “Yes, lad!” Louis also told him that he was incredible and that he was proud to be a Yorkshireman with him. (x/x/x)
The judges were all talking at one point, but Louis sat out of it. (x)
The CelebMix editor said you can tell Louis and Robbie are both very proud of their musical heritage. (x)
