You guys ever hear of Palmdale, California?

Sixty miles north of L.A., it looks like the set of "Breaking Bad," but with more 7-Elevens and extra mufflers.

It's also where I went to high school and where my brother is buried.

And it's where the local college is hosting a coffee-shop reading for me and a 30ish female professor on October 12.

If you missed my L.A. launch or haven't been to the edge of the Mojave Desert lately, come the hell up, Tumblr. We'll get caffeinated amid the tumbleweeds and hit a nearby roadhouse. 

It'll be just like high school. 

But legal.
