For some weird reason, I imagine Waver listening to music that makes people be like - “Oh.” Then they give him this forced smile and leave it at that. Except then he gets offended because THEY CLEARLY DON’T UNDERSTAND GOOD MUSIC AND HE IS JUST MISUNDERSTOOD. Like those are the vibes LOL.

Then also since Waver was born in 1975, there’s probably some 80′s influence to what he likes. Maybe like Anthrax, Vixen, The Police. Definitely some 80′s vaporwave/synthwave in there. Just based on his appearance, I want to be like - OH YEAH HE TOTALLY JUST SITS AROUND AND LISTENS TO CLASSICAL MUSIC LIKE BEETHOVEN AND BACH BECAUSE HE IS SO CULTURED. But then I look at this man, in his blue striped boxers and surrounded by chips and booze and playing video games LOOKING LIKE A FUCKING GOBLIN  — 

— No way is he just vibing to classical unless it is to mellow out or to have some knowledge of composition and music history. He likes music that goes well with gaming or reflects his own anger/frustration with several things in his own life. Then taking into consideration Toh Azuma’s art  —

how repulsive. aside from what was written on it, the stains and poorly made fabric didn’t help but horrify the king, who was now left stunned in silence by the caster’s filthy.... gift??? was it even a gift? could someone even call it that? this felt more like a threat than anything else. or a curse. definitely a curse.
