Bruce Willis' debut album The Return Of Bruno released by Motown on January 1987 was a hit in both US and UK.

The album was also the audio companion of the famous mockumentary similarly titled and aired on HBO the same year,

Artists such as Booker T, the Temptations, and the Pointer Sisters backed the creative process of the album.

As for the album's reception, Willis performance was qualified as : "surprisingly ok", despite the fact that : "shows us that he (Willis) can't shout songs quite as well as Don Johnson. So Springsteen he ain't. Funny he is." (People Magazine)

Anyway back then in 1987 Bruce Willis was definitely the world's coolest dude !
