Save the USPS

I almost never go off-topic on my pages, but this is critical. The current fascist US administration is trying to kill the US Postal Service before the election in November - to stop people (primarily Democrats) from voting by mail. You can help, if you have the available funds, by making an account at USPS.com and buying as many stamps as you can afford. They will ship them to your residence, and they NEVER expire - use them for the next ten years if you need to. But please, think about doing this, and if you can share the post, that’s great too (but don’t feel compelled, I hate those “share or you’re an asshole posts.”)

I shouldn’t have to be saying this but there are two things I am fucking EMBARRASSED to say that I am:

•American

What happened today was not peaceful protesting. It was a riot and fucking TERRORISM.

I’m truly embarrassed not only as an American but a white person. I thought we were fucking better than this but really I was fucking WRONG. And the fact that I not only live in a Trump supporter household, but also had my mom tell me TO MY FACE that what happened today was necessary because “enough is enough” and they needed to be “heard” made my blood fucking boil! They don’t know how much I cried, shook, and went to friends for comfort as I comfort them because of a time like this and what I was told. They’re so lucky I’m staying quiet to keep peace because if I didn’t care about peace in my house, I would’ve raised ALL HELL...
