This is the best way to write Mario

Okay, not in EVERY instance of writing Mario but a good handful is perfect.

ESPECIALLY MTMB MARIO! THIS IS LITERALLY MTMB MARIO!!

I lowkey wish we got "lost faith in humanity" Mario in mtmb, I don't mean just alice possessing him, I kinda wish he at some point just bitch slapped Riba.

Enough "Mario is evil because luigi must shine yada yada" or something. I need Mario to BREAK! I need that man on the ground, bloody and bruised, maybe clawing at himself, while hysterically panicking/sobbing and will lunge at anyone who comes near him. I need this babygirl to go fully unhinged. I wanna see him thinking hes an absolute failure who can so easily be replaced to the point he wonders why he is even kept around, I need him to relate so hard to "are you satisfied" by marina and the diamonds.

I mean this in the kindest, most honest way when I say:

Mario being a villain has so much potential, STOP BEING LAZY ABOUT IT!

He has so many reasons to go down the path of villainy and dammit if no one writes it I will

This is not a threat, its a promise!

flowers and the queer community

As someone who's (potentially) studying horticulture next year, I wanted to see if any flower has ties to the queer community, I found quite a few so I wanted to share them

So I drew Mario and Johnny with a white rose and green carnation, I did do my best with the flowers so please forgive me if this isn't the best

Now, I'm gonna go and infodump about my findings on this topic, I'll add a keep reading bar for convenience.

I'll start with the white rose: the rose itself can be used to represent gay men or women, along with commemorate to those who've died of AIDs or violence. However, the rose is also tied to the trans community, mainly in the phrase "give us our roses while we're still here" both to memorial the trans people who've lost their life due to violence but to also celebrate those who are still alive. I chose white for the roses colour since white roses symbolise rebirth. It's on Marios hat for really no reason, other then I like how I look.

The flower Johnny has a green carnation, which when worn on the lapel symbolises being a man with a male lover. Often this is used to represent having a secret male lover. This symbolism was inspired by Oscar Wilde, a gay man who lived in the 19th century, when he had his friends wear green carnations on their lapels to his play. Since Johnny doesn't wear a suit jacket, the placement of his flower probably doesn't match the lapels location though.

For anyone's who's curious on anymore flowers with queer symbols I'd definitely recommend looking into it, as learning this information was very fun. As someone who is trans and gay (and also studying horticulture) this was really interesting.

More art of my Jonario fusion- Captain sealegs

I've been in a small artblock and decided to draw him, he has a fun design even if it is a little complex

I also have finally given him a weapon, a combination of Marios hammer and Johnny's trident. I imagine they'd spin it to whichever is more convenient in the moment

Since the body and face is a lot of Mario I did try to make them have elements of Johnny's, they both have such different designs that they're hard to combine like this but I love how I designed sealegs.

They've got too much passion and energy for their own good, Johnny and Mario are burnt out when they're out of this form. Ouch.

I saw the Mario movie today so I will probably make my review on it soon once all the adrenaline dies down and since may has a lot of mermaid associations I do have a couple plans.

8bit ranting- Bowser and Mario

I'm gonna say it, Bowser and Mario's relationship is always so mischaracterised by the fandom it is actually ridiculous.

And no, I don't mean people who ship Bowser x Mario as most the shippers actually understand the complexity that their relationship can be. I more so mean the people who think Bowser and Mario can't go five minutes at maximum without doing the following: bickering, yelling, insulting, fighting, punching, ect.

Yes. Bowser and Mario are enemies but do they hate eachover? Depends on the scenario.

Sure they fight when it comes to Bowsers schemes but otherwise, like in scenarios where they need to work together Bowser and Mario can tolerate eachover and be allies.

So I watched the great mission to rescue princess peach and heres my unfiltered thoughts

I loved it so much man.

It was so goofy and silly, I wanna draw Mario dressed as the character he was playing as at the start of the game, there is a semi canon depiction of Bowser's father, Haru straight up decked Mario and that doesn't surprise me as Nintendo love beating Mario up.

Also speaking of Mario, I already say that Mario is literally me cause I hyperfixate so hard him but this version of Mario is especially me.

Maybe its cause he is, as I said to my friends, "an emotional boyfailure like me", hes pathetic in a really endearing way if that makes sense.

Just look at him

It kinda makes me wished nintendo kept Mario emotional, as he can easily be both heroic and emotional.

But yeah, this movies great :)

guess who accidentally clicked something on the art program they use, didn't now how to stop whatever it was doing not fully knowing it wasn't bad and thinking the only way to stop it is to delete the artwork which THEN it told them they could turn it off which caused them lose the artwork they were doing that they spent the last few days doing and actually felt proud of.
