~12:30pm arrived at go go curry, walked around a bit, it was a nice day outside. after some minutes bitmap arrived and we ate curry and then went to karaoke (got there at around... 1:15? I think. or 1:30)
sang all the love live songs that were on the machine (35 of them I think, and realizing that after like the first ~20, I don't know some of them well enough to actually sing but I tried anyway) and then some other anime and ended at around 8pm with love live s1 ED
then we went to halal guys and I was only able to eat like half of it
12pm took subway to manhattan, played some more eo4 demo. Mostly airship stuff
1pm met with @ephshi @catplanetcuties (formerly @8bmp or @bitmapchaos or... whatever it was previously) @hflw @lilypichu
after eating, walked over to karaoke duet 53, got there at like 2pm
I sang a ton of vocaloid songs pretty much. @equinoxrocks and chris arrived at some later time (I think at about 6:30?). Ended with Last Night Good Night, after which it felt like my voice was dying
we went to ny beer company for dinner; the chicken flatbread thing I ordered was huge (didn't get beer though because I don't drink). A bunch of other people showed up including @zzgzzpop @afrostevekun @yyr_ @mattostrofsky and uhh I don't remember everyone. There was also some collaborative drawing times in my sketchbook
8:50pm-ish? went to port authority with bmp and lily, waited around with them for a bit, then took subway home. Had to walk home from the subway station because dad's car wasn't working. The wind was really strong and it was really cold
noon, met with @8bmp (formerly @necorare who was formerly @8bmp and is now @8bmp again) at port authority, got pizza, then walked around. At some point outside one of the many "we buy/sell gold and jewelry" stores, a guy asked us if we wanted to sell gold and then for whatever reason he proceeded to reference gangnam style and we just walked away
went to nintendo world, looked at the Wii U but the only game on demo was rayman and I don't really care about that game
went to book-off
2pm went to karaoke duet 53 again but this time I was prepared and so I sang almost all the vocaloid songs on my list and everything was good, man that place is great. Also some people in a nearby room were singing the anohana ED and possibly other anisongs
6:30pm bmp got a call from @ephshi and apparently he was at the restaurant already so we left and took the subway down which took a surprisingly long amount of time
7:20pm?? arrived at new malaysia restaurant and met with @ephshi and @mr_sangkm and consumed food, then fc and bmp got bubble tea at chatime. There were many references to this being fc's last day in ny and the last time he does whatever things in ny
we took the subway up to port authority and waited for bmp's bus which arrived at about 8:50??, also I got fc to draw in the last page of my sketchbook (he drew in the first page a few months ago when I got the sketchbook from him)
then we went to a starbucks and wasted some time, fc drew some more things and steve also drew some things and I tried to draw some things
10pm went home, also fc is leaving ny tomorrow and will not be back until february; bye fc!!
10am anthropology of ritual, people went around the room describing what they planned to write their paper on, and the class discussed it. Then at the end we watched some film about an African (?) ritual where everyone was being possessed and they sacrificed some chickens and a dog and argued about how to cook them

walked back to the convention center and akira had to go back to his booth and so bitmap and jo and I walked around for a bit. Ended up going to a line for the ATM before heading off to artists alley. Wandered around there for a bit; bitmap purchased a commission of yayoi (precure) from ryumoto and then we walked around some more. Got many streetpasses.
Then at some point @tuyoki texted me saying she saw us and then after some time trying to look around for her, found her and hugu and nora and then stood there and kinda blocked traffic whoops, so then we split off. Walked around the remainder of artist alley and then went out to the charging stations and waited there for a while until @ephshi arrived. He took a picture with the Akari dakimakura that jo was carrying around, and then we went back to artist alley
fc purchased a commission of silica (SAO) from ryumoto and then fc and I walked around artist alley and he looked for an artist who he knew and owed him a commission, except then she wasn't done with it so we went back to the bkub/ryumoto table and loitered around there for a while. akira and lvlln were back and there was also another guy whose twitter name I don't really remember. After some more time of just standing there, tuyoki, hugu, and @gruffghost were also at the table and then there was a lot of blocking of traffic. akira and jo left to go back to the booth and tuyoki's group also left and then @kevinchai showed up briefly
then later fc bitmap lvlln and I left the building and looked for @lilyki and @simplyphorni outside and then @mattostrofsky was also there and we just stood there outside in the cold for a while. Then started walking toward go go curry, where we met with @zzgzzpop and buffi and the curry place was really crowded. Also there was a cosplay promotion going on and there was a huge thing with Gumi on it and she was holding curry. FC wanted to ask for some of those flyers (because he is mayor of that go go curry and they know him) Anyway it was really full of people who were mostly from NYCC and it took a while to get the food.
went over to herald square to eat the food and then at 8, headed over to the karaoke place (lily's group had to leave because apparently to be in the karaoke place after 8pm you have to be 21+). Anyway went to the karaoke place and I don't have an id that isn't my school id and that doesn't have my birth date on it but luckily I had an insurance card on me and they said it was ok this time?? akira and jo showed up later
anyway karaoke happened from 8 to 11 and it was very karaoke but I didn't have my kindle on me and I'm not good at reading japanese fast so I didn't sing as much. I think @omonomono and one other guy showed up for like 10 minutes near the end. bitmap had to leave early though
~11pm took subway home
today was p.cool everyone was cool and it was good
watched @necorare livestream cave story+ and some shmup
drew some more. same as last time, a bunch of heads/faces but then at some point I realized I don't need to draw the head to draw the face if I just have the guiding rectangles I need (and then later I realized I don't need the rectangles, I just need a few points that if connected, make a rectangle). so now I pretty much just draw the eyes before I draw the head which a while ago seemed absurd to me but now I guess it's not so absurd. here's some things. still can't seem to get it to look right consistently. drawing is hard.
drew stuff for pretty much the whole day. focused mostly on faces again, here is one thing that I thought was kinda ok. also, looking at various artists and just drawing lines everywhere, I noticed this which helps a lot with "where the heck do I put the eyes".
