It is honestly not all that bad, Kisumi believes. He has been knocked on the head by a basketball before on several occasions and while most of those times had left him dazed and woozy for a couple of minutes, he’s still here standing on his own two feet as lively as ever. Perhaps he shouldn’t have chatted his mom’s ear off at the phone earlier or she wouldn’t have insisted him on getting his head checked just in case.

In her defense, he got hit three times today but that is due to his own recklessness of having his head in the clouds. Plus, his right wrist has been acting up these days so maybe he should also have that checked up while he’s here.

Just for how long does he ought to wait in the clinic though? Bellevue’s clinic is small and packed and the scent of rubbing alcohol clings to the air like a woman’s perfume. It’s nauseating. At long last, he hears his name being called out and the pink-haired athlete leaps up to his feet almost too eagerly. He trails after the nurse who leads him to another room and as he steps into his supposed destination, he catches sight of the man who will most likely tend to his concern. The man appears to be strappingly robust in stature and has a an unapproachable frown etched on his lips-- or maybe he just naturally comes out that way?

“Wow. For a doctor, you look pretty intimidating! But I’m guessing you get that a lot, yeah?”
