Ok so buck was born for parts.. created specifically to save the life of his brother (the firstborn son)

And yet those parts were defective he couldn’t complete the task he was born specifically to do, and in doing so he parents could no longer see him for the person he actually is.

No longer useful and just a constant reminder of what they lost.

And with Bonnie she sees Buck and think it’s basically a miracle. That Buck is Derrick and she is happy to delude her self into that being fact. Until buck goes off what was planned for him to do; to be. He fights back and tries to run away and Bonnie’s delusion is thrown.

Buck is no longer her son, no longer a good thing that happened to her he is deemed useless now that he’s not playing the son that she always know and loved; now that Buck has decided to fight back and be himself

Buck is no good and the delusion is over and now it’s time to get rid of him.

These people use buck expecting him to give and give as they take and take, and when buck can’t do the thing they wanted him for. He becomes a problem and they can’t have him around anymore.

He’s a constant reminder of what someone lost.

That he is not the son that anyone wanted at first that he’ll always be second fiddle. A downgrade from the first son that they loved so deeply. That they would do anything to keep him.

Whether that means having a kid solely to save him or;

Kidnapping and forcing him to play pretend to keep him his memory alive.

Buck will never first in option he will always be the fall back; he will always be because the first had a horrible accident and you have to fix that. No one will ever accept him for who he is.

See him for what he’s worth.

And buck will never beat we have you because our first son is dead/dying…

Will never beat useful unless providing something.

Do you ever think about how in season 3 Buck was sure he lost Chris forever in that tsunami. And he didn’t know how to tell Eddie.

And how in In season 4 Buck almost lost eddie to that sniper and he wasn’t sure what he’d tell Christopher.

Do you think about that because I just did and know I’m like…

Also buck being the one kidnapped makes all the sense to me because Eddie couldn’t really give a shit about himself yk…

But take something or in this case someone important to him and he’s genuinely not right in the head.

Not only that but he’s waking up to the fact that bucks not there!

And lowkey established in both episodes when it comes down to it Eddie does not play about buck!

So too wake up and immediately ask if his friend HIS BEST FREAKING FRIEND buck is alright and learn right then and there that buck hasn’t been found… It’s going to a whirlwind of emotions.

Eddie is going to (should) lose his mind is what I’m saying.

I have so many other thoughts and stuff but I’m way to keyed up rn to express these thoughts

Also Buck when Bonnie was about to shoot Buck, he accepted what about to happen to him right then and there he didn’t plead for his life or anything like that.

But then he hears Eddie pull up and he hears Eddie’s voice and he doesn’t think to scream out or call for Eddie no. He stops and looks up at Bonnie and ask.. no, he pleads for Eddie’s life

He says don’t hurt him because Eddie has a son that if she kills him Christopher will have no one; buck then offers to play The role of Derek again just so that Eddie will make it out alive for Chris.

And it’s not that Buck doesn’t care for his own life but I think he believes right there that his life is over whether he plays Derek or not and his life is not more important than Eddie making it home to Chris.

Buck is ready to give it all up for them. His entire being he’s willing to let it all go so that Eddie and Chris can be with each other; and that Eddie walks out of this alive.

It’s a testament to how much Buck cares about the Diaz’s how much he loves them and how much he’s willing to give to make sure they’re ok always.

The funny thing is that every time Eddie opens the door for these ladies he loses his son. I think that is most insane craziest thing ever.

Kim shows unannounced = Chris calls his grandparents and they take him away

Abigail shows unannounced = she takes Chris.

Also Eddie always shares a piece of himself with them before Chris is taken.

With kim he shares (obviously) that she looks like his dead ex and that he didn’t really get to say goodbye or what he wanted to her.

With Abigail he shares that Chris takes the bus now and that he (Eddie) is too busy to pick up Chris up now a days because he’s working to many long shifts.

Both Kim and Abigail take what he says to their advantage Kim uses what Eddie says to dress up as Shannon.

Abigail uses what Eddie says to kidnap Chris.

All of this just came to my head as I’m writing this

I think about the sound with Mike wheeler

“And then he put his hand on my shoulder….”

“He didn’t even squeeze it, he just rested his hand on my shoulder.”

“And I was just thinking.. how could he not hate me; how could this guy not hate me….” “How could he— how could he not hate me”

And I think of buck and Eddie..

I think about how buck felt so desperate and panicked when he lost Chris; how devastated and scared, on how he was going to tell eddie.

I think about the relief he felt when Chris showed up.

And I think about the look on his face when Eddie brought Chris back to hang out with him…

And that sound from Mike pops into my head “how could this guy not hate me…”
