Have you seen the 1995 film based on “Sense and Sensibility”? I love it as much as the 2005 “Pride and Prejudice”. Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, Hugh Grant, and Alan Rickman… Hugh Laurie has terribly understated, and terribly amusing role as Mr. Palmer. Emma Thompson wrote the screenplay, and it was directed by Ang Lee. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it!

I know I watched it yeaaaaars ago and really enjoyed it! Maybe I’m gonna need to rewatch it soon xD

I want you to know that this is literally the most potent and kind compliment you could ever give a writer. Like. I got chills, legit, reading that - the idea that someone likes my writing enough to read outside their regular fandoms is very powerful. Thank you so much <3

IT ISSSSSSSSSS OH MY LORD, I boarded this ship around Gallifrey IV, and I’ve been bobbling along with the waves during the intervening years, but the waves got bigger during Time War 1. Then Erasure came out and suddenly the ship morphed into an armada and started rampaging around Wild Endeavor all willy-nilly? Just wrecking things in general and me in particular?

Yep. It was a minor earthquake. Didn’t even rattle stuff on the walls. We just don’t have that many around here, so it surprised me is all. I work in a tall building so I thought, well, if this gets bigger I’m toast. But it’s also a newer building that I’m sure is up to seismic code. I hope it would take a really big one to damage my building. But it’s always exciting to feel one.

Maybe there was something to the “vomitorium” after all… *full body shiver*

Vomitoriums were actually the tunnels built under the stairs for people to enter and exit an amphitheater. They didn't actually have anything to do with vomiting. I'm with you on the "Eww!" though.
