• Ok so you kinda knew it was wrong to like the captain but in your defense, look at him! He’s handsome, he’s charming, he’s stunning! Even though everybody knew that Scotty was pretty much the only one who knew you liked him.

•While in engineering you were fixing a couple malfunctions it was no big deal, you had no problem with doing things like this until you noticed Kirk and Scotty talking, you instantly turned pink when you saw Kirk.

•”Ahh, Lieutenant ___ you must be the one Scotty keeps talking to me about excellent work. Keep it up!” Kirk said. “Aye aye sir!” You agreed. ‘So Scotty talks about me to him huh? Never knew..’ you thought trailing off. “Oh captain one more thing before ya leave!” Scotty said. “Yes Scotty?” “Tell Lieutenant to go to yer quarters at 7 they might want to er..tell you somethin’ rather intriguing sir..” Scotty whispered. “Alrighty. Will do Scotty” ___ was confused what did he say to the captain? You wandered

•So at 6:45 the captain did say to head to his quarters and you did and when you arrived you signaled to be let in “Come in!” You heard a voice, you entered the captains quarters and looked around. ‘I’m wondering why I’m here was this because Scotty was talking to the captain?..’ ___ asked themself “Ahh, Lieutenant- Scotty said you wanted to tell me something…I believe he said “Rather intriguing “ Kirk asked

•’DAMN YOU SCOTTY’ you mentally screamed, you realized that Scotty set this up and there was no way out of it but to tell him. “Ok sir this might sound insane- but- Ilikeyouandihaveforaverylongtime.” (I like you and I have for a very long time.)

• “What..?” He said confused. “I know it sounds insane.” You said sighing heavily “No no I want you to repeat what you said I couldn’t understand!” He said chuckling. “O-ok- I like you and I have for a very very long time.” You said adverting your eyes away from his. When you look back at him he showed you (the smile above) “Join me on shore leave?” He asks. “Ye-yeah sure!” You said excited. “Also call me Jim” he said giving you a quick kiss on the lips. ‘I guess I owe Scotty a Thank you..’ you said to yourself.
