my education is fucked

so our chemistry teacher turns to the class today, and says completely seriously ‘so we’re cracking hydrocarbons on wednesday and I need you all to have 100% of your brain function so I know it’s a lot to ask but I need everyone in here completely sober for the lesson please’

the fact that she actually had to ask us to not turn up drunk/hung over says something about our chemistry class
