a pretty good day todays chem paper wss in the afternoon so as per routine me and my friends went to school early to study in the libray because we allr ealised we cannot focus at home. chem went okay i think im rather lucky that the topics i didnt study didnt come out for this paper which means i have to study them for the next paper because it will definitely come out. tomorrow is lit paper which is always fun to study for

Hi guys! Mock exams went really well, got An A* in Politics and and A in English. Now just prepping for the actual exams 😭. It's been very busy and very stressful but almost the Easter holidays so I'll be able to work at my own pace which will be nice.

Hope everyone is coping okay, getting towards the end of the year now! Good luck to everyone with exams <3

Blurting is honestly the best form of revision I've tried. It's literally just writing everything that comes to mind in relation to the topic.

That means there's no wrong way of doing it.

It also has to two most important bits of revision: active recall and figuring out what you don't know.

Active recall cause you need to know something to write information about it down.

And you can include questions in it like "ok but what is binomial expansion???" as soon as you think of it. So you can get it down, keep going, then find out what it is later.

Or you can look over previous notes and see what you left out. That also identifies what you don't know.

And there's no time minimum or maximum! You can go for 2 minutes or 20! Great for both hyperfocus and when you need constant breaks but still wanna get something done.

And yeah. It's not perfect. You still need to do practice questions. But doing practice questions when you don't know the material is pretty pointless. I know I just get frustrated. So figure out what you don't know first. Then learn how to do it, make sure you remember it. Then do practice questions.
