Yosef: Binyamin, how do you take your coffee?
Binyamin: As dark and bitter as my soul
Yosef: One glass of milk coming right up
I say that. And then I watch Grian’s video.
GRIAN NO
PLEASE
Y’ALL NEED A BREAK
I don’t know who gave the okay for that double wedding from hell or who wrote that bullshit but they need to be fired, and I’m not even joking. I want names.
First of all, Barry and Iris are too good and too kind for this world. They need better friends because all of them, with like the exception of Cisco, suck. I used to think that Caitlin held the title for shittiest friend but then Oliver and Felicity had to come and snatch that title away from her.
I know that Barry and Iris are The Gold Standard and that’s all great and wonderful but when did being the “gold standard” become synonymous with Prop Masters? Because that’s what they’ve turned into. Their characters and their relationship have been dimmed repeatedly or set aside or flat out just used in order to make another couple or character look good. Ironically the only time they’ve truly gotten to shine this season was when they were paralleled with The Thinker and Marlize in the last episode. But that’s no surprise because they were being compared and most importantly linked to a strong couple instead of being dragged down and downplayed in order to let another couple attempt to shine.
Westallen and Olicity are not on the same level. At all. I’ve always thought that but this crossover solidified that and put it into stone so that I’ll never, ever, EVER forget it. Oliver and Felicity are selfish, period. Both apart and separately, and apparently that’s what makes them compatible. They can’t go and support their friends for five whole ass consecutive minutes without making it about themselves. I’d almost be impressed by that talent if it weren’t so disgusting.
It’s bad enough that they had to go and make an ass out of themselves at Barry and Iris’ rehearsal dinner. But then in almost any and every other conversation they had with Barry or Iris (unless someone was shooting at them) they turned it back on them and made it about their love and their shitty views on marriage and commitment.
But if listening to that repeatedly for four hours wasn’t enough finally, FINALLY when Barry and Iris had a minute or two to do something that they have been wanting to do for years FOR THEMSELVES, Felicity decides to interrupt and make it about her and Oliver. Again.
It’d be one thing if Barry and Iris had suggested that they get married with them then that would just be their bad decision making. But no, that’s not what they wanted. They just wanted to be married. They were just ready to be husband and wife and they thought their shitty ass, selfish friends would support them for five minutes while they did that.
But no, not Felicity and Oliver. Why would they do that? Why would they just stand there, smile and shut the hell up so that their friends could have their moment? Why did Felicity have to interrupt them before they finish? What, did Diggle only have one wedding in him and if they didn’t jump in on Barry and Iris’ wedding he wouldn’t be able to just start over and do the whole thing over with them?
It was a cheap trick meant to lend credence to a relationship that should be able to stand on it’s own, but it can’t. So, Barry and Iris have to be interrupted, set aside, and be put into the role of guests at their own wedding so we can be tricked into believing that watching Olicity see-saw back and forth between whether or not they wanted to marry each other for four hours was worth it.
Spoiler alert: It wasn’t.

Wughh. School has destroyed all my muses. I’ve never felt so disconnected with all of them at once. I really need to watch Wanted: Dead or Alive again, get my voice for Josh back, and try to rediscover the voices for my other muses too at some point.
I apologize for my lack of activity drafts-wise. I’m so dead. Maybe things’ll get better once Thanksgiving Break rolls around and I can breathe again. x__x

Why do I always fuck things up?? I never seem to do the right thing in my life. I feel like I always make the wrong decision and end up getting fucked.
