A friendly "cuphead reminder":
Cups and Mugs are canonicacly adults acording to the developers.
The game takes place in the late 30’s.
And aparently WW1 also “canonicaly” already happened in the “Cuphead” universe (as we can see in Werman’s boss fight).
Then in the coming decade, the WW2 will take place too.
Soooooooo, is veeeery probable that Cupsy and Mugsy will have to fight in that war.
Why?
Acording to my knowlege of the WW2, a lot of young man were recruted against their will, based of fake promises or by indusing paranoid ideas on the citicens (mostly men).
Idk to be honest, but imaging our little guys going to the battlefield and seeing the true horror of the world outside their isle.
Imagine Werner deniynig everything, imagine him refusing to believe thats the germany he once fighted for.
Imagine the once happy and colorfull Inkwell isle covered in patrotic propaganda and militar bases here and there.
Imagine Elder Kettle seeing his boys go, to somewhere they will probably never comeback.
Imagine Hilda watching her skies invaded by battle planes.
Imagine Cala hiding from the battleships that will arrive the the shore.
Imagine Beppi trying his best to keep the children happy and away from the scary truth.
Imagine Dr. Kahl being recruited as well for the army because of his talent to create devises of destruction.
Now that i think of it, it seems like a pretty good idea for an AU!
