okay okay i finally have a moment of free time 🙏

This is Tinder! She's a fire genasi gunslinger and I love her very much :) The DM for the campaign I play her in is very devious and enjoys fucking with us. Pretty early on our party acquired a weird little amulet that gave us an intelligence boost, and no one else wanted it so Tinder got it.

And slowly over time I keep getting boosts to stats and even gave a LOT of proficiencies and even a few spells I should NOT have access to considering I'm a gunslinger. And by the time I realize what's happening, it's too late because the amulet has an enchantment on it that keeps me from taking it off by subtle to not so subtle brainwashing.

I'm spending every session desperately trying to communicate to the party that something's wrong by casting the spells I shouldnt have and doing things Tinder wouldn't normally do to try and signal BUT NOTHINS WORKING and eventually, completely by accident, my party kind of gets Tinder killed in a weird and very specific set of circumstances and BOOM! Tinder's gone

And then I got to roleplay the evil wizard that had planted his own spell into the amulet, that slowly and completely replaces the wearer's soul with that of the wizard's

Tinder's fine now! After the party got her back (it took a while, I got to play my back up character :)) she's rocking a new style because she had to go undercover in her home country with the party and the wizard had cut and dyed her hair :)

Well, fellas, I finally suffered through my first PC death. Tinder’s worse than dead right now, and I’m crying. I at least get to play my backup character, who’s gonna be absolutely fucking fun to play. She’s an order of the mutant bloodhunter longtooth shifter (what a mouthful) and there’s so much to her fuckin character sheet that I gotta keep track of.
