I wanted to do it with Jester, but his appearance hasn't been fully revealed yet, but I think Ticket Taker is great 👉👈. Gender-neutral MC.

Book Review #1
Babel By R.F.Kuang
I finished this book middle of January, via audio and let me you THIS WOMENS WRTIING IS A PEICE OF FUCKING ART, i absolutely loved the book, learned lots about etymology, characters and plot were all so interesting, and the use of the magic system with the silver bars (Not a spoiler) was so clever, the ending of the book was genuinely so good, the characters yet again were all super Indepth, i loved the dynamics with all the characters, some characters made my skin crawl and others make me tear up. I 'read' the book with a physical copy and a audiobook, and it was such a good book , highly recommend the audio version for this read, but it was a phenomenal book, quite eye opening ngl. I loved all the absurdism about the past and current world the book talks about with racism and judgment, and accents and pure looks, it was so good, I highly recommend, truly do, i rate it a 5/5 (I have very lose ratinings) If you are looking for a nice long book with descriptive writing this is the one to go!!!
It was a SLAP
Nothing sharper than a serpent's tooth Nothing harder than the gospel truth Though you repent and don sackcloth and try to make nice You can't cross the same river twice
So everyone knows about it now...
The setup: Jack’s been out all night and winds up at the Rachel’s. But now his conscience is getting to him at how bad Sarah’s been hurt, it was never meant to turn out this way. Jack disappoints Rachel that they can’t be together now.
Scene 1: Robert is asking about breakfast as well as where Jack is. Sarah tells him there won’t be any bonfire or fireworks after all. His constant questions about where Jack’s gone and whether they’ve had a row lead to Sarah yelling at Robert to leave her alone.
Robert: Dad never said he was going away.
Sarah: Didn’t he?
Robert: Never said goodbye...
Sarah: For heaven sakes Robert, would you just leave me alone! I’m sorry.
The rest of the episode focuses on the fallout of the affair coming to light. Jack and Sarah’s ‘talk’ is found here.
The setup: Sarah confronts Rachel at the tea room’s kitchen. She’s stolen her husband, made a habit of it hasn’t she? It wasn’t planned, they fell in love, blah blah blah. Rachel also saying how Jack wasn’t happy with Sarah anymore. Well fine, Rachel’s welcome to Jack, Sarah won’t put up a fight.
Sarah: Oh don’t kid yourself Rachel. You wanted him because he belonged to somebody else.
The lovely slap can be found here.
Scene 2: Robert is watching the fireworks until Jack shows up and Sarah has him and Victoria go into the house. Jack spouting how he made a mistake, one he’ll regret the rest of his life. She won’t give Jack a chance, she’s seeing her solicitor.
Jack: Oh god Sarah. So everyone knows about it now...
Sarah: I’m seeing my solicitor. You have to know that I have no intention of leaving the marital home.
Jack: What?
Sarah: You can carry on working the farm till we’ve sorting things out but, I never want you to come near me again.
Jack: It doesn’t have to be like this you know.
Sarah: And I want you to stay away from the children until we’ve sorted things out.
Jack: They’re my kids too, Sarah. You can’t stop me from seeing them.
Sarah: Can’t I?
