Jason finds the hero community a joke.

He once looked up to heroes with admiration, but now?

Now they can burn in hell all he cares.

Batman's the worst offender.

He always said that the rogues deserved a other chance, that they can be rehabilitated.

And yet...

When his own son dies, not only does he trample on Jason's name, he says that nothing could've fixed Jason's 'impulsive' and 'reckless' behaviour. That Jason caused his own death.

It's disgusting.

What hero blames a child for their death?

Anyone who blames or talks bad about a child death does not deserve the title of hero.

A hero is someone who always looks on the bright side, sees the good in people, help those who struggle or make bad decisions.

A hero does not talk bad about the dead, does not tarnish on a child name, does not use a child death as a cautionary tale.

Real heroes do not physically or mentally abuse their child in a fit of 'anger'. Would not beat up their former son to the brick of death despite their no-kill rule, and felt no remorse about it.

A real hero wouldn't have traumatised children as sidekicks to save them from a 'criminal life' despite them needing the opposite.

A real hero would instead, make sure they were okay, help them through their trauma, and definitely not recruit them in a crusade that could get them killed. They might help the child find a goal, like becoming a police officer, a support worker, a priest, a racer for charity, literally anything else!

A real hero would realise when they make mistakes and learn from them, would atone for their mistakes and take accountability, reflecting on what they did wrong.

But no one in the justice league ever acted like a real hero for Jason.

No.

He got the complete opposite. He was treated like a punching bag.

Why should he admire the hero community when they sure as hell don't act like a hero to him? What is it about Jason that makes them unable to be a hero to him?

Why just him? What did he do wrong? Was it his fault for being born in the lower class? For living in Crime Alley? For just wanting a parental figure to love him?

Why was everything 'his' fault?

I am at my most nerdy/pedantic/verbose/unhinged prolix when I'm trying to piece together my thoughts about Cas's overcoat as a metaphorical "animal skin," especially the loss/gain of the coat as it relates to: his amnesia, his reclaiming of celestial power, the subsequent loss of sanity, and finally, staying behind in "Enchanted Woods"/Purgatory. But it doesn't even end there... He gets reclaimed and used by Heaven, and when he falls, he casts the coat away until he decides to return home again. It's... HNNNNGH.

ANYWAY. The coat is Cas’s bridge between Heaven and Earth... duty and free will... divine power and human weakness.

Thre is a difference between Soldier and Warrior, and I always felt castiel is more of a warrior than a soldier.

Yes, Cas was a soldier, but from what Naomi said we know he wasn't always the best one. Because even if Cas was created to be a soldier of heaven, He always fought for his faith, he fought for what he belived was right.

Fighting for winchesters was his choice, fighting for Kelly and jack was his choice.

But everyone treats him as a soldier, they treat him as if fighting is his job, the only job he should do, Dean tends to order Cas, not answering his questions or addressing his doubts.The fandom loves good little soldier Cas who follows every one if winchesters command and the show, I am pretty suer they forgot their characters half way through.
