Today was a day for running errands, but I did buy myself (and my dad) a couple of treats. I also spent some time finding some more seasonal books for my kindle, which I’m excited to get stuck into.

I spoon cakes of potato and kale onto my plate to eat with slices of beet-root-cured salmon. Had a really lovely walk this morning, so many beautiful colours, and a delicious scent in the air. Once home I had tea, worked on my book reviews, read a little, reorganised some things in the den, finished ‘A Thousand Feasts’, then made some flapjack, which I enjoyed after a warming chilli. Looking forward to curling up in bed tonight, and finding something new to read.

Went on the loveliest Autumn walk this morning, warmed back up in the den with apple and cinnamon tea, and a ginger biscuit, spent some time colouring and reading, then spent the afternoon and evening curled up watching and reading comfort content.
