Izuku doesn't like hospitals, he decides.
And from the way Eri dashes over to cling to him when the nurse exits the room, she doesn't either.
They're too much like the Shie Hassaikai base: pristine walls, operating tables, plastic chairs, too-bright fluorescent lights, medical equipment scattered throughout a room that was eerily similar to what his cell was like. The doctors and nurses are different, sure. They are nicer than the Precepts or Overhaul but some of them still look at him with disdain or fear. He understands that he looks like a monster but he'd much rather they treat him like one than trying to go about their duties pretending they aren't scared of him.
At least the Precepts were vocal about their hatred towards him.
