AHHH OK!!! um yeah so i’ve been thinking about it for a few weeks now but it’s kind of been a pretty slow burn thing because i was so distracted by the fact that i was in love with my advisor LMFAO (that’s a different story). but basically, i technically met this woman two years ago and we exist in adjacent professional spaces but we didn’t really travel in the same social circles and i’d always found her pretty intimidating because she seemed so aloof/unapproachable and has what other people have called this “movie star aura” LMAO. so I’d pretty much never spoken to her for the majority of the time we’ve “known” each other. but then at some point over the last 3-4 months she started talking to me whenever we ran into each other? and i was just like huh that’s nice i guess? but anyway our interactions increased in frequency over the last few weeks and she’s been arguably hitting on me sometimes? which at first confused me but now i’m just rolling with it HA. and then she FINALLY asked me for my phone number last week and we hung out together alone for the first time yesterday like maybe it was a date? maybe not? who the fuuuck knows? idk how straight she is either. it’s all very unexpected. But she is gorgeous. like the people who say she’s like a movie star ... have real reasons for saying that (although half of those reasons might because she is almost always wearing these giant ridiculous sunglasses XD). I think she is kind of like... the ultimate cryptid maybe because she’s just this like glamorous but unknowable being HA. the other day someone made a comment about how they were unnerved by the fact that they couldn’t see her eyes because she was wearing her sunglasses and she was like “yes, that’s the point. I don’t want people to see my eyes, the glasses shield me from the world” LOL i was just like what are you. this is getting long, but you wanted to know about it!!! funny story though: we went hiking yesterday and i was so curious to see what she would wear because she has like a very specific Look ™ and i just couldn’t actually imagine her hiking or being out doors at ALL. but she shows up wearing black skinny jeans, black hiking boots, a black longsleeved t shirt (which btw wearing mostly black is part of her look so this was like casual Look), a baseball hat, her usual sunglasses, and bright red lipstick and im just like ... there is SO much going on here (also it’s like summer but she is apparently afraid of the sun. maybe she is a vampire lmao jk). My roommate was like “if she wore lipstick then it was a date cuz she was putting in effort” but i’m just like... ummm i think that might just be like HER like just how she exists LMAO anyway. that’s enough of that. (no one who knows her read this... jk the people on here who know her have already heard this rant a millionnnnn times)
