I am sooooo late to this, but Bookshop AU and Time Travel for the Mash Up Meme! :D
Nah you’re good I’ve been slow to answer them XD (list can be found here)
Probably not a big surprise, but I’m going with MadaTobi for this XD
After the 4th Shinobi War, Madara finds himself chakra-less and flung into the modern age. He struggles to cope, still too much of a warrior to settle down into a civilian life. Once Madara realizes that he is still very much alive, and thus having been denied the pure lands AGAIN, he lashes out in anger, managing to do a lot of damage to the surrounding area and anyone foolish enough to try and stop him because chakra or no chakra Madara is still a fucking beast
Anyway, Madara gets his grumpy butt tossed in the highest security prison in existence. The other inmates think he’s an easy mark because he’s a “pretty boy” and try to rough him up. He only has to severely maim 3 people before the other inmates cower before him. As much as Madara likes ruling the prison, he gets bored and breaks out because he’s still a fucking ninja at heart. Realizing he needs to lay low, Madara travels to a different and decides to do something totally unexpected; he opens a bookshop because he likes books and why not?
For a few years Madara lays low, even cuts his hair short to blend in a little more but before long he’s bored again. Cue Tobirama wondering in to the store one day in search of stupidly obscure science book. Madara almost attacks him, until he realizes this isn’t the same pale bastard that killed his brother during the war. Instead this a socially awkward nerd of a man who would rather hole himself up in his lab than deal with people. He also has scary powerful right hook not that Madara would know. After a few visits where they do nothing but toss thinly veiled insults at each other, Tobirama invites Madara out for coffee. Eventually the two socially awkward dorks realize they love each other.
I like that I’m a nice person. Most of the time I like it anyway. I’m kinda dealing with some blow back rn over being too nice to someone, but overall I enjoy being polite and nice and the fact that I strive to make people happy.
I like that I can pick up new hobbies relatively quickly. Like, I picked up crocheting and was making hats the same day (way back in high school), I picked up digital art and have become decent enough within a year of fiddling around with it, and stuff like that. Pretty much I like that I’m a quick learner, even if I tend to plateau as far as skill levels go
I like my eyes! I have central heterochromia in both of them, so there’s like...a dark ring of blue on the outside of the irises, most of the inner irises are green, and both have flecks of brown that look like gold in the green portions. Makes it really hard to answer the whole “what eye color do you have” question tho xD
I like how much I know about domesticated cats. It was a hobby of mine to read articles about their genetics and shit, and watch documentaries on them, and read weird cat psychology books, and first aid books on them, and behavioral books on them, and all sorts of weird random stuffs (even a crack pseudo-science homeopathy first aid book xD). I get rather passionate about them, and also kinda pissy whenever people wave off their behavior without understanding it. Less happy about getting pissy at people, but am happy that I’m so passionate about such lovely little furry babies
I like that I’m getting my life sorted out. Had a rough year last year, and this one looks to be much better. Am in a better place both physically and mentally, which is something I’m very very proud of, and something I like very much
Hi! My friend Tuli-chan loves this pairing and asked if I could send a prompt for her. So how about "All That I've Got"? Please and thanks! :D
Mito stared at the shogi board with deep concentration as she chews the inside of her mouth. ‘How did he corner me like this?’ Mito thought with a frown.
Hashirama leaned back with a proud smirk on his face. He had her trapped now, but it wasn’t easy, for the past three hours Mito proved to be a very formidable opponent. Playing against her kept him on his toes more than playing against the Nara clan’s leader, Shikai Nara.
“If I win this game Uzumaki-san, you have to come as my partner to the autumn festival tonight.” It took him a lot of guts to say that, hence this game was part of his elaborate scheme to get closer to her.
“Very well then Senju-san, but if I win you have to tie your hair exactly like mine for one whole day.” She smirks at him when his face turned terrified, but later turns into a playful grin. “Is that all you got Mito-chan?” He teases her because he was confident that he was going to win, not that he would tell it to her face.
“All that I’ve got?” She sasses back to him, and on impulse she makes her final move. By the time it was his turn, she stares at his joyful face with horror - ‘Fool! How did I make such a rookie mistake?’ Mito scolds herself with a dramatic face-palm, but a small part of her was looking forward to going as his partner to the autumn festival tonight, not that she’d tell him.
He picked up his shogi piece, and was declared the winner.
Tonight is the night he will definitely melt that icy persona of her’s.

Later at night during the festival,Tobirama and Toka’s eyes were wide as saucers when they saw their brother and cousin give a handsome grin to the beautiful woman with red hair he was holding hands with. When they see him lean closer to give a chaste kiss on her lips, both of them turn around blushing madly.
‘Well how about that cousin.’
‘Drat! It’s going to take weeks to wipe that image off my head.’
For the character energy thing, I'm gonna pick Tomoyo! 'Cause everything you've said about her reminds me of you! :D
Awww! Thank you SO much Hiro~! *Hugs you tightly.*
I’m so utterly flattered to hear (read) that, because I think trying to be like Tomoyo is something worthy to aim for. She is such a great character and my headcanons are making her even more wonderful, lol!
So I kinda wanna do this and I know there ain't a minimum word count, but I gotta ask if it's really okay to write drabbles or short oneshots? Most of my fics are less than 1000 words, and I know lotsa people like long fics, and I wouldn't wanna disappoint anyone I was matched with.
Hi! Mods apologize for the late reply, but are very glad you asked this!
Because this event is open to both artists and writers, it is extremely hard to judge how many words would be an adequate amount. Not to mention that mods personally believe that large word counts alone do not good fics make, and some writers lean more towards longer/shorter fics and do their best work when sticking to one or the other.
This being said, mods want everyone to judge their gifts by good faith. If you create a gift, and believe it to sufficiently cover the prompt given - and believe that you yourself would be truly happy to receive it - then it is an adequate gift to give.
Mods know that this isn’t a very strict guideline and might not be the answer you were looking for, but mods also believe that this is the best answer we can give - and hope this helps!
I know I'm super late to this too, so you may have already answered some of these, but 4, 5, 9, and 10 for the anime meme! :D
Again, no worries Hiro! I’m always happy to do these :D (list can be found here)
4. Who’s an anime character you relate too?
I usually pick Tobirama for someone I can relate to, mostly because I like to think I’m pretty smart and I do love math and science. Also dealing with people is hard and I’m a rather blunt person. We both care deeply for our loved ones too. However I’m probably more like Sasuke XD I that moody brat in the corner that hates everyone yet somehow people still like me XD
5. Who’s an anime character you look like?
This is the one I already answered. Spoiler alert, I picked short haired Riza Hawkeye from FMA :D
9. Who’s your favorite anime character?
This is a dirty question, I can’t just pick one! Seriously I can’t, so have my top 5 instead :D
Madara - probably not a big surprise given the pairings I write XD There is just so much about his character that I like, not to mention look at that smile! How could I know love this glorious human dumpster fire chaotic cinnamon roll?
Tobirama - again not that big of surprise XD He is another one that has so much I like about his character; he’s smart, he’s sassy, and he seems to say what most of us are thinking XD Also he’s one of the most visually appealing characters in my opinion :D Plus look at that pout!
Hashirama - I’m a slut for the founder’s era characters okay? He’s just such a lovable goofball that I can’t not like him! From his dramatic mood swings to his very unique out look on life, he’s just a fun character. And I love corrupting his character when I write :D
Itachi - He was the first Uchiha I fell in love with. He was so mysterious and insanely powerful when he was first introduced that I was instantly hooked. Not to mention he’s fucking gorgeous and teenage me thought he was the ideal man. And then I met Madara and Tobirama and have no idea what the ideal man is so instead I just make them love each other XD
And finally Izuna! The whole plot of Naruto wouldn’t have been possible without his untimely death! And I enjoy making him a snarky asshole, so there’s that too XD
Notice I conveniently only picked Naruto characters XD It would have taken me forever to narrow down my favorites if I looked at all the animes I watch XD
10. Do you hate any anime characters? If so, why?
Genin Sakura from Naruto and Orihime for Bleach. I wouldn’t say I hate them, more like I strongly, strongly dislike them for the same reasons. Their characters are entirely useless to the plot of the anime, they literally only ever serve as a damsel in distress and anytime they make a smidgen of growth it’s overshadowed by literally every other character in the fucking show. Sakura at least grows out of it, Orihime never does.
104. “I’ve never felt stronger than when you’re with me.” (list can be found here). Since I have used this prompt before I changed it a little bit in this! Hiro was kind enough to give me free reign of the pairing, so I went with MadaGai. Please enjoy my first attempt at writing Gai!
Also @writhingbeneathyou I hope you don’t mind but I borrowed your Ward of Konoha universe!
Madara liked to think he hated Gai with a burning passion the Uchiha were famous for, even if the little voice in his head disagreed with him. Without Zetsu around to corrupt his thoughts, that damn voice sounded a lot like Hashirama; it was just like that fucking Senju to torment him from the pure lands. He was sure at least Tobirama was having a good laugh up there, enjoying how eternal paradise had been denied to Madara, AGAIN. Instead of getting to reunite with Izuna and his other brothers, Madara was stuck in the village he’d already forsaken once; shackled to the very beast that had bested him. That stung his pride worse than the chakra suppression seals tattooed into his skin.
“Your heart is not in our battle my friend!” The booming voice has Madara blinking and starting across the training field at the bane of his existence.
“We’re not friends,” Madara states and sage dammit if that wasn’t the start to half of his conversations with Hashirama.
“Of course, we are!” Gai’s grin is over the top and sends another pang of longing through Madara. “Shall we continue our youthful endeavor?”
Normally Madara would raise to the challenge clear in those bottomless black eyes, but today the Uchiha is stuck in a time long past that he’ll never get back to. “Don’t you tire of this farce Beast?” He asks instead, crossing his arms under the protection of his yukata sleeves, making it clear he’s not fighting anymore.
“What farce?” Gai asks, bushy eyebrows furrowing in confusion as he too stands up straight; Madara suspected the taijutsu master cared more about their spare than his strange behavior but nothing was sure with Maito Gai.
“This,” Madara let’s his eyes sweep over the clearing no other shinobi dared approach, their fear of Madara still too great, before he looks at the youthful green beast before him. “Surely you must grow bored of acting so friendly; I am hardly blind to the fact you surely despise me as much as the others from the war. When will you put me out of your misery?”
“I…I don’t follow,” Gai admits and Madara’s eye twitches in annoyance, “why would I act differently around only you?”
“Must I spell everything out for your puny brain?” Madara growls, wishing not for the first time that Gai’s brain was as strong as his other muscles. “Everyone in Konoha wants me dead, are you so weak that you need to drag this out?”
“Yosh! I’ve never felt stronger than during our youthful clashes!!”
“Of course, I’m a bigger cripple than you,” Madara scoffs, his anger fading as he stares off into the distance. “Everyone wants me dead,” he repeats, his tone far away and detached in a way Gai has never heard as he continues, “I want me dead. You’re my warden Maito Gai, how long will you prolong my suffering? Have I not repented for the lives I took?”
“No one wants you dead!” Gai interjects, a frown marring his usually joyful face, “enough of this unyouthful talk!”
“I am old and so tired,” Madara continues like Gai hasn’t spoken, his unfocused eyes glancing in Gai’s general direction, “I just want to find the paradise Hashirama spoke of. Will you send me there?”
The fist slamming into his cheek hard enough to sending him crashing across the clearing catches Madara by surprise. For a moment he just sits there, brain trying to figure out what just happened.
“You are my friend Madara,” Gai states, his serious tone drawing the Uchiha’s attention, “I won’t tolerate such talk any longer, understand?”
“Look at you Beast, you almost sound human,” Madara taunts, because he wants the other’s anger to back his fists. “I didn’t realize you still had nerves I could strike.”
“I’m not going to kill you,” Gai ignores the other’s words, “nor is anyone else in Konoha, least they face my power of youth!”
“How can you be a bigger disaster than Hashirama was?” Madara asks exasperated, unable to tear his eyes away from the strange man that held no anger at him, despite nearly dying at his hand not even a year ago.
“Yosh! You really think so!?” The honest to sage excitement in Gai’s tone at being compared to the God of Shinobi breaks something in Madara and the Uchiha can’t stop the laugh the breaks free as he finally stands up.
“Hashirama is the only shinobi I could never best,” Madara says as he drops back into his crouch, “a title I won’t allow you to take.”
“We shall see.” Gai’s grin is nowhere near as vicious as Madara’s but the Uchiha knows the youthful beast will do everything in his tremendous power to steal that title from his childhood friend. Madara looks forward to the challenge.
