A.iRiD was a 4 member group consisting of Ari, Day, Bell and Echae. This group technically never properly debuted. They released 2 songs as pre-debut singles in 2022 and then were slated to officially debuted in March of 2023 however no debut was formed and the group has since been assumed to disband. Also fun fact the members were all in the same age range of 1998-1999, so for a group to debut in 2022 and not have a 2005 liner or whatever was kinda a big deal, still young obviously but still it was nice to see.
The first pre-debut single they dropped was First Flight. The song has a nice marching band feel mixed with some tropical house beats with an overall bright and energetic vibe.
Their 2nd pre-debut single was Super Freaky Girls. The song despite the title still has that cute upbeat bright energy, it has a pretty airy pre-chorus that pushes into a interstellar space vibe chorus with the verses having a catchy Weki Meki sing talk. Honestly could've seen iChillin' (y'all still streaming Got'ya?) doing this song.
Not really sure why the group vanished, a shame, kpop could've benefited a group of 23/22 year olds with a fun energy.
