Jackson is a fun and friendly guy. It’s tragic how long he’s been living on concrete and behind steel bars. He will most likely require some real decompression time. He is only available outside of Los Angeles city. So people in Burbank, Beverly Hills, other cities, or states…are able to rescue or adopt. I do not believe he is available for fostering through the city of Los Angeles because of that mentioned restriction. OK gang. Jackson is still in the joint. One of my buddies from North Central. Thankfully volunteers are starting to be able to trickle back in and do very limited things. Unfortunately, I am still out due to my recent surgery. Help spread Jackson so he can possibly find his forever home. This guy keeps his chin up despite having been at the shelter for ALMOST 19 MONTHS! 😟 This 6 year old ray of sunshine is playful and attentive. He just loves spending time in the yard with his volunteer friends, who report that he is easy to leash (and even easier to love hehe). Jackson is a total ham -- he loves getting pet and absolutely lives for neck scratches. He’s also very happy just to stretch his legs frolicking around. This grey and white hunk has been at the shelter since JAN 31, 2019 when he came in after his owner lost his license, following an incident between Jackson and a small dog. His previous owner reported that Jackson was friendly with other dogs in the home. Because of this unfortunate incident, Jackson now needs an adopter or rescue outside the City of Los Angeles to come pick him up and get him back on track to having a happy and carefree forever life that he deserves. This loverboy was made for a family as caring and affectionate as he is, who will keep him safe indoors. It’s time for Jackson’s happy ending. I’m not thrilled about posting videos of dogs I’ve never met. Or editing videos I didn’t take together. But I’m doing my best to be helpful. I wrote this to a few people yesterday… And it’s true. I get to love the dogs I meet. From the moment I meet them whether they are snarling, growling, barking, hiding, or just sitting there wagging their tail… Some of them I actually do make a promise. Almost all of them I am EXTREMELY happy to say have gotten out. Not all. Some are still behind bars. No longer at North central… These dogs have been spread out to the other shelters. Jackson is STILL INSIDE the big house and one hurdle is that he is not available for adoption inside Los Angeles city. So if you live in Burbank, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Ventura… He IS available. Lovable guy. Not suggested for anyone who is constantly around small dogs.
