Great to see this update. I posted about Poseidon a couple times. Repost from @northcentralshelter • This week’s happy tail adoption story comes from Derek and Janel who adopted Poseidon from North Central in early April. They saw him from an IG story that was shared on Facebook. Poseidon was a favorite of volunteers while at the shelter, but he was stressed in the kennel. We are happy his new family saw his potential, and he’s so loved now!💗 Introducing the newest member of our family, Poseidon “Po’Boy” Morgan. After losing our amazing dog, Kouta Boot, we didn’t think our hearts could ever heal. This boy is allowing us to grow a new heart and filling it with love, laughter, his spectrum of barks/howls/chatter and HUGE paws (typically slapped on our faces). He’s on a bit of a journey to tolerate other dogs - he’s getting there(!) - AND he’s an absolute lover of people. Po’Boy redefines snuggling and we are so grateful to Friends of North Central Shelter - Los Angeles Animal Services for getting his message in a bottle to us. We lost our pup on the same day we saw Poseidon’s post, and not long after we came to meet him. We considered it fate.
