i might find the fact that phoenix and edgeworths characters and stories were intentionally influenced by gay stuff and how it feels like their character arcs really would make the most sense and feel satisfying if they got together while knowing despite everything that will literally never happen endlessly frustrating

but even if i cant give ace attorney credit for that (or so many other things lol) i still just have to give credit for how incredibly nice it is for phoenix to just adopt a daughter out of nowhere and proceed to be a really good single dad

you know what we never talk about in regards to ace attorney?? how the entire California procesutor’s office must have HATED klavier after the Zak Gramarye case.

like, several of the state’s, if not the country’s, leading prosecutors (INCLUDING Edgeworth who would become the new Chief Prosecutor) had direct contact with Phoenix Wright, were saved by him in an emotional or literal sense, and knew his methods and moral code so intimately that there was no concern over what measures he might take to defend his client.

but THEN this Europhile shithead who took a women’s studies class in his senior year of high school gets Wright disbarred on the accusation of forgery—and don’t get me wrong, Nick still presenting the forgery in and of itself was bad, but without Klavier providing any concrete evidence that he actually commissioned the forgery in the first place, and having gotten the information of the forgery from a secondhand source the literal day before the trial and didn’t think something was wrong with that? 🤔🤔🤔 yeah, no prosecutor in japanifornia liked/likes klavier
