Oh my god, there was this guy that I made the mistake of greeting because he then proceeded to suck the next five years out of my life in only ten minutes just talking about random ass stuff that couldn't possibly be more abysmally boring, and because I'm in customer service I can't just be like, "Alright you're boring, seeya" After finally being able to break away, another coworker told me afterwards that some customers are known to be "black holes", which is fitting because I can like feel the void trying to repair itself in my chest after those 10 minutes of absolute conversational torture And on top of that, it also feels like he sucked away like all the conversation I had saved up for today

#chatter #but hey I learned that when an AC unit goes out it's usually the capacitor inside the power box or some bs #man. this guy was so draining #I told my coworker in my dept that if I'm ever in a convo lasting more than 2 minutes #to call for me over the walkie that way it seems like I have to leave #like omg retail workers are not there to just shoot the sh!t. they have other obligations #just please ask your question and Go #aaauuggghhh

you know in game, when you're with the brotherhood and they build that thing to warp you into the institute? I wonder if...Art was scared, standing on that platform and waiting for it to fire up, looking into Danse's eyes and knowing he couldn't take him with him. No one was sure if it would kill him, or if he would even return from the institute. He was doing all this for his son, of course, but I'm sure Art was terrified of being taken away from another person that he loved.
