I read the entirety of Promises and now I can’t stop ugly crying :( I also used up all of my tissues so pls kindly virtually send over a box of Kleenex 😭 the internal dilemma between should I stay or should I go really broke my heart. I’ve never been through this situation, and the idea of staying never even crossed my mind, but you really depicted the entire emotional thought process thoroughly. My heart and mind are gonna be having more arguments from now on 😭✊🏼

Awh reading this made me so happy! I thought really hard about how I wanted to resolve things. Same tho! I’ve never been cheated on but I personally I don’t think I’d be the type to stay— however, ultimately I think lemonade is about the process of betrayal and moving forward so I wanted my fic to reflect that. It’s really rewarding to hear that someone connected with that and that it was believable so thank you!
